Divain's commitments to the environment
At Divain, we firmly believe that we still have time. We can reverse climate change, we can live in a healthier and more sustainable world, and ultimately, a happier one. That's why our work is linked to a series of commitments, aligned with the United Nations' 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development Goals, which we fulfill every day. Below we present some of them, but don't think we're going to stop there, because not at all! Protecting the environment doesn't just mean taking care of the plants, but also the animals that inhabit the planet. Therefore, our perfumes are never tested on animals, and more than 99% of our catalog consists of perfumes that have absolutely no animal-derived components. Our packaging is sustainable. Last year we decided to revamp the packaging of our Divain perfumes, not only to make them more aesthetically pleasing (which is also important because you deserve the best) but also to make them 100% sustainable and environmentally friendly.
So,we changed the plastic cap (biodiversity's number one enemy)for a wooden onefromorganic forestswhere the wood is sustainably harvested; And we've also changed the cardboard in our packaging to one made from 100% recycled cardboard. Recycling In addition to having 100% recycled and recyclable packaging, at Divain recycling is an everyday thing. We collaborate with waste management companies to minimize the impact of our activities and avoid harming the environment. We are reducing our carbon footprint. Although unfortunately we cannot eliminate our carbon footprint, we are strongly committed to reducing it more and more. Therefore, almost 100% of our shipments are made by land transport, avoiding air and sea freight, which are the most polluting. In addition, we have adapted our shifts and production system to reduce travel to our workplaces.
