No unpleasant but the violet scent is strong and the musk secondary. It’s a floral parfume and in my opinion doesn’t resembles cinema. I will be trying a different divain option if I can find one with muskier notes

A cousin, not a dupe

It is very harsh/artificial in the beginning, it develops into a resemblance of the Cin�ma, but darker and woodier.
I remember my original Cin�ma being harsher/plasticky a few years back, but it is now a yummy, almost syrupy (amber) honey-vanilla with soft crispiness of the flowers. The #521 lacks the brigtness and roundness of the original. As I take a deep inhale there are layers to it (Carnation? Cyklamen? Pencil shavings? Amber?) After an hour it has more of the Cin�mas DNA in it and from afar it may pass for the OG, I guess. It may improve with age like the OG and, in the meantime, could be layered with something like Armani Code. The longevity on my skin is good, it stays easily over night.
Mind you, I am reviewing the sample after one week of oxidation.
